Attention, Students & Parents! 2025-26 FAFSA Open by December 1, 2024

The 2025–26 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA^®) form will be available to the public on or before Dec. 1, 2024.

For students applying to Cal States and UCs, FAFSA is due by March 3, 2025. For California community college students who wish to receive free tuition for the first two years, you should get the FAFSA completed by June 30, 2025. For other colleges, students should review the respective college websites to see when FAFSA is due.

If you are using the FAFSA application to qualify for the Parent Plus loan but are not seeking need-based financial aid, we recommend that you get the application completed by May 31, 2025.
